# Novas | Seers

### Novas

Novas are the main plot of our metaverse, mathematically modeled three-dimensional galaxies based on density wave theory.

At its genesis, several factors would determine the composition and uniqueness of the Novas. Main stars' color, h2 regions, eccentricity, only to mention a few.

Like many other things in nature, the amount of existing Novas are represented by a Fibonacci number; only 4181 will ever exist.

They are the cornerstones of the Novaverse, where all activities will occur from mining to commerce and, of course, space exploration.

All the possible activities inside a Nova will be affected by the technological advancements unlocked by the Nova's owner, its Seer.

### Seers

Seers are Xers that gained that status after acquiring a Nova. As guardians of the Novas, they have exclusive interactions with their galaxies.

They are responsible for the technological enhancements of the Novas. Such technical improvements are necessary to maximize the Novas activities efficiency and unlock some SEVs and Exos capabilities.

Seers should try to keep their Novas progressing to ensure that Xers prefer to settle instead of migrating to a different galaxy.

Being a Seer also brings some exclusive perks; one of the first to be implemented in the Expansion stage is the Resource Gathering Tax: every Xer collecting resources in a Nova must pay a tax fee that its Seer defines.

The tax will represent a percentage of the unrefined gathered resources.

Higher taxes may be tempting but may push away Xers from creating settlements in the Seer's Nova.
